Staffing Committee

We Proudly Present our Staffing Committee Video

 

 

 

Mission

The staffing committee represents the voice of all SHMC RN's, CNA's, and techs in order to:
Provide a safe woking environment with appropriate staffing levels

Ensure adequate staffing to achieve optimum patient care

Retain staff to keep a static level available

Vision

The staffing committee will be recogonized as a committee that:
Ensures a safe work environment

Strives to retain quality employees

Supports nursing staff through proper staffing plans in order to provide for the best patient experience

Ensures staff feel safe with assignments and respected for the work they do

Provides a voice for staff to raise concerns about everyday working conditions

 

Goals

The goals in the Staffing Committee are:
Improve retention of RN's, CNA's, and Techs

Exit interviews

Ensure adequate staffing

Increase retention of talent

Give staff a voice to contribute to the integrity of their own careers

Committee Accomplishments:

Maintained compliance with Nevada State Staffing Laws
